Location: The Townsend Cabin Front Yard- Townsend, MT
The temperature started cold this morning (at least compared to the last few days) at 11.1 degrees. We finally broke the ‘30’ barrier at 2 PM today with a high of 31.4. As of this writing the temperature is 27.0 with high clouds. The moon is very bright and it is illuminating the tress most prettily.
Not much to report today. No wild beings invading my territory (animal, human or otherwise) Fist day with no snow flurries in quite sometime.
The snow is back to being very dry, yet now it will ‘squeak’ when someone walks on it and is now the texture of course sugar. (I have a cousin who hails from Mt. Kilauea in Hawaii and he knows all about the sugar industry, and he wasn’t afraid to share how knowledgeable he is. He loved to share his wealth of information at reunions until the accident. Well it wasn’t much of an accident, as it is a rocks duty to stay where they are placed and after the most recent explosion we haven’t heard from him. We assume he is helping form the latest bit of shoreline in Hawaii. The perfect job for him. I am sure he will have much to share in a few thousand years or so.)
Anyway! As always I will post my next report tomorrow.
