Location: The Bozeman House Front Yard, Bozeman, MT
Very cold and clear all day today. This morning the temperature was -2.0 degrees reaching a high of 15.4 at 4 PM today and as of this writing the temperature is 0.0.
Nothing much to report except- except for the sighting of two different wildlife creatures.
The first sighting (of which I do have photographic evidence) is of the great American Bald Eagle. A magnificent bird- I am afraid my photographic device just doesn’t give it credit. However I did not take this amazing photograph myself- I must give credit to the father figure in the household. They seem to borrow my photographic device at odd intervals yet I was able to acquire this photograph for my own records. (And I was very happy he was able to show this magnificent bird.)
The second sighting of which I have no evidence solves the mystery of the strange animal tracks seem in previous photographs. Late this afternoon I saw what I think was a Red Fox. (It may be another breed of Fox but it was most defiantly a Fox.) It hopped happily by my station before heading off to who knows where. I will let you know if I see it again.
I will post my next report tomorrow.
